RV levelling and jacks problems

- RV levelling jacks will not retract
A jack that will not retract makes the coach immovable, which is why this feels urgent. Before anything else: levelling jacks hold the coach’s weight and are not stands. Never get underneath a coach supported by its jacks — a hydraulic fault, a failed seal or an accidental control input can drop it without warning.

An auto-level controller that errors out is reporting something specific, and the code usually names which jack or sensor it is unhappy with. Most codes come down to two ordinary causes: the ground is not supporting the jacks evenly, or the battery cannot sustain the pump long enough to finish the cycle.
Drivable, with precautions - RV levelling jacks will not extend
This is the benign direction of the same fault. Jacks that will not come down leave the coach fully drivable, so you have time to deal with it properly rather than urgently. The usual causes are inadequate voltage, low hydraulic fluid, or a safety interlock refusing because it thinks the coach is not ready.
