This tool identifies which system it belongs to, tells you where to read it off the unit, and carries it verbatim into a technician-ready service brief. From there you can request a mobile RV technician or take the brief to one you already use.
What this tool will not do
It will not tell you what your code means. We hold 0 sourced code meanings today, because we only publish a meaning when we have the manufacturer’s own fault table on file.
Every other RV code site guesses, and the guesses get copied between sites until they look like consensus. An owner acting on a wrong meaning buys the wrong part, or is told a combustion fault is harmless. We would rather be less useful than be confidently wrong.

- Where do I find the error code on my RV appliance?
- It depends on the unit, and the lookup tells you where to read it for the systems we cover. As a rule the code is displayed on the appliance’s own control board or thermostat rather than on a central panel, and it may need a diagnostic mode to appear. If the code has cleared itself, write down what you saw before it went — a remembered code is still better than none, as long as you label it as remembered.
- Should I clear the code before a technician arrives?
- Tell the technician the code first, and ask them before clearing anything. A code that is still present is evidence; a code you cleared is a story. If it has already cleared on its own, record it in your brief along with what the RV was doing at the time.
